B-Man is 9'er

Well the kids will not stop growing up! December 4th was Brody's birthday and it started with our family tradition of the boys getting pancakes for breakfast. They always get the number of how old they are turning in pancakes. So Brody got 9 pancakes on his plate this year. The boys also get to pick what they have for dinner that night as well. Brody wanted to have chicken wings!! The night of his birthday he wanted go into Kim's hot tub. So we took all the kids up for a birthday soak.

Brody wanted to go to the school for his birthday and play laser tag with his friends. He had 8 friends come to his party and the kids had a blast running around the school shooting each other and playing in the gym. the last game was all the kids against me in Lazer tag.

Brody got a lot of great gifts from the other kids, but the best gift had to have come from Brynlee Bevans. She gave Brody a kids compound bow. Brody was so shocked when he opened it. Now we just need to make sure that he doesn't kill anyone while he learns how to shoot it.

This last week I played in the Cardston High School Alumni basketball tournament. I was able to play with my friends that I went to High School with so it was a great time. We lost one tough game and that kept us out of the Final. We ended up winning the 3rd place game for the tourney. I don't play a lot of basketball, but I had a great time.

Haydn had his first band concert as well. He plays the trombone and plays it well. I was not able to make it to the concert, but Kristi said he did a great job.
