The Hair Cut

     Well I have been growing my beard for almost a whole year now. I started in August of last year and have not cut or trimmed it since (Well I have around my mouth...No need to eat hair with all my food). Everyones first question is "why did you shave?". I shaved because I got sick of taking care of it hahaha. Washing, conditioning, combing, and maintaining was too much...haha...

     Plus all the hair that I was leaving all over the place was getting out of hand. I am sure deep down that Kristi was happy when I shaved my beard just for the cleaning purpose. haha Kristi has been a big supporter of the beard and many people will not believe me when I tell them that my wife wanted me to keep the beard. BUT, it was time for a change.

 




  I never do things half way though. I told Kristi that if I was going to shave....I was going to shave everything and cut my hair way short again. I was looking for the shock value and I am pretty sure that I got it. Most people couldn't believe it when they saw me. My brother Jeff was probably the happiest because he hated the beard haha.

     It was fun while it lasted and I will miss the attention that the beard brought to me. Most people thought I was a well dressed homeless man...haha. Kids never knew what to think of me and most of them seemed scared when I was around. hahaha

     Haydn and Brody have been playing Baseball for the last couple months and the team is playing well together. We are 9-0 and have one more game before playoffs start. Haydn had a great game last night hitting twice way into the outfield and getting inside the park home runs. He is pitching very well this season as well. He has improved so much from last year. Brody made the jump from coach pitch to minors and he is definitely  holding his own. He is hitting the ball well and playing good defense. He pitched for me a couple weeks ago and did a great job. He was so excited when I told him that he was pitching.



   















Haydn had his last Basketball tourney of the season last week. They played great and beat Raymond in the round robin to put them in the finals. This was great for the boys cause the Raymond team had not been beat that season. Because of the way the tourney was set up we played Raymond in the final but they beat us. The season was great and Haydn improved so much in his game.
